Voice

  • Access the Cloud PBX
  • Configuration → Extensions
    • Add a new SIP Peer

      • Enter the Name of the User or Application / Service using the extension.
      • If applicable, write a Description to further explain the purpose of the extension and how it integrates.
      • If you want the extension to have it’s own voicemail mailbox, set Voicemail MWI to Voicemail Same Number.
      • If you want to set a specific Inbound Dial Timeout for this specific extension, set it now. This should be a whole number, e.g. 20.
        • Please note that this can be set tenant-wide at Configuration → Settings, as Extension dial timeout.
      • If you wish to record outbound calls from this extension, set Always Record to Yes.
        • By default, these are available in Status → Call History, but if you’d like them emailed to you, enter your email address in Email recording to.
      • Set External CID Number to the DID you’d like to use as the Outbound Caller ID for this extension.
      • Set External CID Name as the name you’d like to use for External Caller ID for this extension.

  • Configuration → Extensions
    • Add a new SIP Peer
      • Enter the Number you want. This is the extension number that users will dial, and needs to be 3 or 4 whole numbers in length (normally 3 whole numbers), e.g. 101.
      • Enter the Name of the User or Application / Service using the extension.

      • Set External CID Number to the Fax Line
      • Set External CID Name to the same as the Fax Station ID you used for incoming (normally the Tenant Name)
